Job summary

Codians is seeking an experienced Siemens NX Administrator with 5+ years of expertise in Teamcenter-NX integration, NX administration, and upgrades. The role focuses on configuring, deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting NX client environments integrated with Teamcenter.

The ideal candidate will support Teamcenter 2606 upgrade activities, validate NX integration workflows, optimize CAD data management, and ensure smooth production deployment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Siemens NX Administration.
• Hands-on experience in Teamcenter‑NX integration and NX upgrades.
• Experience with Teamcenter 2606 compatibility and upgrade activities.
• Strong understanding of NX Managed Mode and CAD data management.
• Experience in NX deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and administer the NX client environment compatible with Teamcenter 2606, including Managed Mode integration.
• Assess existing NX/Teamcenter integration and determine the required NX version, maintenance level, and compatibility for the Teamcenter 2606 upgrade.
• Configure and validate NX Manager/Teamcenter integration, connection profiles, templates, customer defaults, environment variables, and FCC/FMS connectivity.
• Support the development and validation of enterprise NX client deployment packages for DEV, TEST, and Production environments.
• Perform end-to-end testing of NX login, open/save, check-in/check-out, revise, Save As, assembly loading, drawings, and dataset management.
• Validate large assemblies and CAD file transfers through primary and secondary FSCs.
• Troubleshoot Gurgaon/Pune cache behaviour, WAN performance, and Store-and-Forward scenarios, wherever applicable.
• Validate NX/JT/Dispatcher translation workflows, visualization outputs, and CAD dataset relationships following the Teamcenter upgrade.
• Support production cutover, pilot testing, smoke testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Perform rollback validation and provide post-go-live hypercare support for NX users.

Job Overview
