Adani Transmission (ATL) is seeking a capable professional to manage shift operations across generating units and plant systems. You will coordinate with SLDC/RLDC, DISCOMs and regulatory bodies, ensuring safe, efficient operation and compliance with statutory standards.

You will lead the shift team, prepare schedules, and contribute to plant improvement and digital initiatives. A relevant engineering degree and 4+ years of experience in hydropower environments are required.

Formación

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4+ years of experience in shift operations within hydropower generation or pump storage.
• Advanced certifications in operations management or power generation technologies preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure reliable, safe and efficient operation of generating units, auxiliaries and balance of plant systems.
• Support operations head in compliance with statutory and environmental requirements from authorities (CEA, CERC, DSA, SCEI, CPCB, Cybersecurity, etc.).
• Issue and close Permit to Work (PTW), verify isolations and LOTO, ensure PTW documentation.
• Prepare generation schedules (day ahead and intraday) in coordination with head operations and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with SLDC/RLDC, CTU, STU, CEA, SCEI for day-to-day plant operations.
• Lead shift operations team as shift in-charge to achieve generation targets and pumping schedules; liaise with SLDC/RLDC and DISCOMs.
• Delegate tasks to the shift operations team to maintain optimal plant operations.
• Assist in preparation and implementation of plant operations reports and checklists (daily, monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Support head in billing, PPA compliance, DSM management and settlements.
• Work per the approved operations plan to meet yearly generation targets and availability goals.
• Support head in plant improvement projects, modernization and digital transformation.
• Maintain plant shift operations records daily and IMS documentation updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head operations.

Qualifications

• B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in the shift operations within hydropower generations sector or pump storage plants.
• Advanced certifications in operations management or power generation technologies are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable, safe and efficient operation of all generating units, auxiliaries, and balance of Plant systems.
• Supports operations head in ensuring full compliance with Statutory HSS, environmental and technical requirements from central and state governmental bodies (i.e. CEA, CERC, DSA, SCEI, AP/CPCB, Cybersecurity etc. compliances).
• Issuance and closure of Permit to work (PTW), verification of isolations and LOTO, ensures documentation and PTW process completeness, prior to PTW issuance and closure.
• Preparation of generation schedules (day ahead, intraday revisions etc.), in consultation with head operations and its coordination with internal and external stake holders.
• Effective coordination with SLDC / RLDC, CTU, STU, CEA, SCEI etc. as and when required for day-to-day operations of Plant.
• Leads shift operations team, as shift in-charge to achieve generation targets, pumping schedules, and to meet SLDC / RLDC instructions. Liaison with SLDC/RLDC, DISCOMs, TSO, as and when required in day-to-day shift operation.
• Delegates and assigns work tasks to shift operations team to maintain optimum Plant operations.
• Supports operations head in preparation and implementation of complete Plant operations reports and checklists, including daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and checklists.
• Support operations head in billing, PPA compliance, DSM management, and settlements.
• Works in line with the approved operations plan to to achieve yearly Generation targets (including minimization of APC) and yearly agreed Plant/Machines Availability targets.
• Supports head operations in Plant improvement projects, modernization initiatives, digital transformation etc.
• Prepares and maintains Plant shift operations records on day-to-day basis.
• IMS implementation, documentation preparation and updating, pertaining to assigned area.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the head operations, from time to time
