Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a Shift In-Charge-cum-CFT Operator to safeguard airport operations. You will operate and monitor the Crash Fire Tender (CFT), respond to emergencies, and coordinate with ATC, Security, and ARFF teams.

The role requires a graduate, with preferred Fire & Safety/ARFF certification, and 1–3 years in airport fire services or related fields. A valid HMV license is preferred, plus hands-on experience with firefighting vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Certification in Fire & Safety / ARFF operations will be preferred.
  • Valid HMV Driving License preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Airport Fire Services, Industrial Fire & Safety, Emergency Response, or ARFF Operations.
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of firefighting vehicles and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Crash Fire Tender (CFT) and associated firefighting equipment.
  • Monitor airport operational areas and respond promptly to fire, rescue, and emergency incidents.
  • Conduct regular inspections and readiness checks of firefighting vehicles, equipment, and rescue tools.
  • Ensure compliance with DGCA, BCAS, ICAO, and airport safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with ATC, Airport Operations, Security, and Emergency Response Teams during incidents.
  • Maintain shift logs, incident reports, equipment records, and operational documentation.
  • Participate in emergency drills, mock exercises, and safety awareness programs.
  • Support aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) operations whenever required.
  • Ensure proper manpower deployment and operational readiness during assigned shifts.
  • Report equipment defects, safety hazards, and operational concerns to the concerned authorities.

Purpose/Objective
  • The Shift In-Charge-cum-CFT Operator is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted airport operational activities during assigned shifts. The role includes operating and monitoring the Crash Fire Tender (CFT), responding to emergencies, coordinating with operational stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards and airport regulations.
