Job summary

Gruner Renewable Energy seeks a skilled Shift Engineer - Operation Maintenance to oversee Biogas Plant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, efficient performance and SOP compliance.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, coordination with field operators, and rigorous maintenance of process data; rotating shifts, strong leadership, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of shift operations experience in Biogas/Bio-CNG or process plants.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts and field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor plant operations during the shift.
• Coordinate with field and panel operators for seamless execution.
• Identify and resolve operational abnormalities and equipment faults.
• Maintain process parameter records and logbooks.
• Ensure preventive and routine maintenance per plan.
• Implement safety practices and participate in drills/audits.
• Liaise with maintenance team and escalate unresolved issues.
• Support the transition to clean energy through innovation and excellence.

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Shift Engineer - Operation Maintenance to oversee the operations of our Biogas Plant during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth plant functioning, adherence to safety standards/SOPs, and timely troubleshooting of any operational issues.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and monitor all plant operations during the shift to ensure safety, efficiency, and SOP compliance.

Coordinate with field operators and panel operators for seamless execution of operations.

Identify and resolve operational abnormalities and equipment faults promptly.

Maintain records of process parameters and logbooks.

Ensure preventive and routine maintenance activities are carried out as per the maintenance plan.

Implement safety practices and participate in safety drills and audits.

Liaise with the maintenance team and escalated unresolved issues appropriately.

Requirements :

Preferred Qualifications Skills: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in shift operations preferably in Biogas/ Bio-CNG or process plants.

Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of plant systems and equipment.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Willingness to work in rotating shifts and under field conditions.
