Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to manage on‑premises environments (SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and SPSE), perform farms from scratch installations, and lead upgrade activities across versions. Strong scripting with PnP PowerShell and Nintex Workflows/Forms is preferred.

The role involves premigration assessments, content database upgrades, and coordinating with AWS/DB teams for upgrade activities, while maintaining detailed migration documentation

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on SharePoint Administration experience in On-Premises environments (2013/2016/2019 and SPSE).
• Experience installing and configuring a SharePoint farm from scratch.
• Premigration assessment including inventories, custom solutions, third-party integrations, and unsupported features.
• Upgrade content databases and troubleshoot upgrade failures.
• Configure Service Applications, upgrade by attaching databases, and manage Search, User Profile, and Metadata.
• Evaluate and migrate custom components ensuring compatibility with new SharePoint version.
• Coordinate with DB/AWS teams for DB attach and upgrade activities.
• Nintex Workflows and Forms experience.
• Perform testing and validation of upgraded content and features; ensure data integrity.
• Maintain migration plan documentation and validation results.

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint Administration specializing in supporting and managing SharePoint On Premises environments including SP 20132016 2019 and SharePoint Subscription Edition SPSE
• Has worked on installation and configuration of new SharePoint farm from scratch
• Conduct a thorough premigration assessment of the existing SharePoint farm eg SharePoint 2019 including content inventories custom solutions third party integrations and unsupported features using SMATSPS Farm Report
• Experienced in attaching and upgrading SharePoint content databases to new web applications and troubleshoot any upgrade failures
• Has configured and worked on Service applications upgrade by attaching the databases to the new farm Search User Profile Manage Metadata
• Evaluate and migrate custom components such as web parts features and branding ensuring compatibility with the new SharePoint version
• Work with SQL Backup AWS teams to coordinate on the DB attach and upgrade activities
• Has worked on Nintex Workflows and Forms
• Perform comprehensive testing and validation of the upgraded content and features verifying data integrity and functionality
• Maintain detailed documentation of the migration plan process and validation results
