Job summary

NetApp, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow SecOps Developer to design, develop, and support SecOps solutions with a strong focus on Vulnerability Response (VR) and security use cases. You will implement integrations, portal customizations, scripting, and automation across the platform to deliver scalable security operations.

You will collaborate with security, platform, and vendor teams to gather requirements and deliver reliable, compliant solutions within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with ServiceNow SecOps (VR) and Service Portal.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
• Experience building integrations with third-party tools via REST APIs.
• Experience with scripting across ServiceNow modules and UI policies.

• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow SecOps solutions with VR focus.
• Configure and enhance SecOps processes, including data ingestion and reporting.
• Build integrations with third‑party tools and enterprise systems using REST APIs, spokes, and MID Server.
• Develop and customize Service Portal experiences for security and IT users.
• Perform platform scripting across ServiceNow modules using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Create and manage Service Catalog items for security requests and workflows.
• Design and support Flow Designer and legacy Workflow automations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SecOps functionality, integrations, scripting, and automation issues.
• Collaborate with security teams, platform teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

Job Summary

The ServiceNow SecOps Developer is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow Security Operations, with a strong focus on Vulnerability Response (VR). This role delivers scalable SecOps solutions through configuration, integration, automation, and Service Portal customizations, while adhering to ServiceNow best practices. In addition to SecOps, the developer is expected to contribute to general ServiceNow platform features as needed, applying scripting, catalog, and workflow skills. The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements

• Design, develop, and support ServiceNow SecOps solutions, with strong focus on Vulnerability Response (VR) and security operations use cases.
• Configure and enhance SecOps processes including data ingestion, prioritization, remediation tracking, and reporting.
• Build and maintain integrations with third‑party tools and enterprise systems using REST APIs, spokes, and MID Server, based on business needs.
• Develop and customize Service Portal experiences(pages, widgets, UI components) for security and IT users.
• Perform platform scripting across ServiceNow modules, leveraging Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies to meet functional requirements.
• Create and manage Service Catalog items related to security requests, access, exceptions, and operational workflows.
• Design and support Flow Designer and legacy Workflow automations to streamline SecOps and platform processes.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues related to SecOps functionality, integrations, scripting, and automation.
• Collaborate effectively with security teams, platform teams, stakeholders, and vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Demonstrate strong communication skills, including clear documentation, participation in design discussions, and proactive status updates to BSA.

Education

Minimum of 5 years of related experience

Primary Skillset:ServiceNow SecOps (VR), Service Portal, Integrations

Secondary Skillset:Platform Scripting, Service Catalog, Flow/Workflow
