Job summary

RX Global in Chennai invites a Senior Software Engineer II to design and deliver high-impact, scalable software across services. You will own end-to-end solution design, turning ambiguous requirements into secure, resilient systems that drive business value.

You’ll mentor engineers, raise engineering quality, and collaborate with product teams to align solutions with customer outcomes while ensuring reliability and operational excellence at scale.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building and delivering complex, globally available distributed multi-tenant systems.
• Solid understanding of system design, Domain Driven Design, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Strong testing discipline and focus on quality and operational excellence.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make well-balanced technical trade-offs.
• Confident communicator who can work effectively across cross-functional and global agile product delivery teams.
• Exposure to AI Prompting and Agentic workflows.

About the role:

The Senior Software Engineer II designs and delivers high-impact, scalable software solutions across multiple services.
