Job description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • The Service Sales Engineer role will handle various post sales opportunities like generating spares opportunities, framing Annual Maintenance contracts, Framing rate contract for spares and man‑day service, Shutdown jobs, Offshore contracts for field products. Overall responsible of MSOL LCS Business Growth in South India.
  • Help customer to select spares / Services according to the installed base, taking into consideration the customer's lead‑time and budgetary requirements.
  • Pro‑active follow‑up of quotations with the goal of getting the order at the earliest.
  • Respond to customer's commercial and technical questions (phone and e‑mail) within reasonable time.
  • Verify that purchase orders are in accordance with the offered financial and technical proposal and resolve any issues that occur during the order cycle.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records in CRM and other tools as required.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Conducting Site Walk activities for generating leads.
  • Conducting Workshops for plant shutdowns.
  • Presenting PPTs to customers for showcasing Emerson MSOL LCS service strengths.
  • Manage Orders POR, accurate Planning & forecasting of orders every PD, regular review.
  • Implementing Initiatives set by management for business growths.
  • Tapping old installed base for exploring upgrades, revamps and refurbishments.
  • Generating leads for competition displacements.
  • Work with service team and Operations team for meeting customers deliverables.
  • Work on customer RFQs, submitting Tenders, commercial discussions with customers, showing Negotiation skills to close the orders.
  • Technically competent enough to address customer's requirement and expectations.
  • Work closely with other regional Service sales Engineers, Product Sales Engineers, HO, proposal team & Order entry Team for RFQs / opportunities and orders.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Good Technical knowledge in Level, Flow , Wireless, Corrosion technologies.
  • Work Experience on Products like PT/DPT/TT, Radar level, Coriolis, Magnetic & Vortex flow meters, Flow computers, Associated skid components like pumps , Digital valves
  • Knowledge of Metering Skids, SRV systems, B&T Systems. GCs, flow computers etc,
  • Good Presentation skills, communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Bachelor in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 4-6 years of work experience in field of Sales.
  • Experience on Analytical System for Power and Oil & Gas Industry is preferred.
  • Experience on various Emerson field Instruments like Emerson Measurement products, flow products and Emerson Metering skids, Analyzer systems etc.
