Ingersoll Rand plc is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain rotary air compressors. The role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach, with frequent travel and some overtime to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical and hands-on experience with compressors, electrical controls, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical (3 years) is mandatory.
• Strong mechanical skills with troubleshooting ability.
• Familiarity with electrical control circuits is required.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning & servicing of air compressors.
• Achieve revenue and collection targets.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to complete work on time.
• Explore new business opportunities such as upgrades.
• Frequent travel with some overnight stays.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Commissioning & Servicing of Air compressors
• To achieve revenue & collection targets
• Co-ordination on various level internally & externally to get the require work done on time
• Explore the new business opportunities such as upgrades
• Frequent travel requirements with some overnight travel
• Ensuring the Customer Satisfaction while managing & working in line with the requirement of allied stake-holders.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Compressor knowledge: In-depth understanding of rotary air compressors, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Strong mechanical skills, including troubleshooting and repair of compressors and related equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including control circuits and motor control.
• Understanding of pneumatic systems, including piping, valves, and controls.
