Qualifications

What you’ll do

As a Service Delivery Manager, you’ll play a crucial role supporting and driving service stability for our customers

You’ll focus on the wider impacts of change on people and how they move from the current state to the new one, as well as preparing and owning all implementation plans, controls and resource plans.

Your responsibilities will also involve:

  • Progress reporting on plans and controls and resource requirements and making sure the plan is in line with any wider programme plans or controls
  • Identifying, tracking, managing and mitigating any project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
  • Working in partnership with project or programme managers and stakeholders in defining and establishing business impacts
  • Owning, defining, establishing and coordinating the project implementation management process and all the business readiness and change activities according to implementation plan
The skills you’ll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need knowledge of a project life cycle coupled with experience of delivering implementation management in a technology or IT function. You'll need at least twelve years of experience in service management specialist with experience in managing critical applications and services. You’ll need expertise in at least one service management discipline, which could be incident, problem, change, transition, configuration, capacity or availability management.

>You'll also need experience in ITSM while reviewing application statistics, coordinate or drive any actions for platform stability/service management trends or actions like Incidents, PRBs or Vulnerabilities with the relevant stakeholders.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience of internal and external change implementation
  • Project RAID management experience
  • Good communication skills
  • A background in project stakeholder management
