Job summary

Wattlecorp Cybersecurity Labs LLP is seeking an SEO Intern to boost online visibility by improving website performance and creating content for cybersecurity services. You will work with the marketing team on SEO, content optimization, and web design using WordPress and Elementor.

You will gain exposure to keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO basics, and analytics, while contributing to content calendars and web templates.

Job description

As our new SEO Intern, you will play a pivotal role in improving (and even enhancing) our online visibility by improving our website performance, and create and edit content for our cybersecurity services.

Also, working closely with our marketing team will help you gain exposure to SEO, content optimization, and web design that exclusively deal with tools like WordPress and Elementor.

Core Job Responsibilities

Drafting and Optimizing Content (for Both Web and Mobile)

• Prepare blog posts and landing pages focusing on our cybersecurity services.
• Coordinate with our writers and marketing team to refine content for search engine optimization and overall readability.
• Assist in managing the content calendar and ensure that content is published on time.

Website & CMS Support

• Update and manage website content through WordPress.
• Build or modify basic page layouts and templates using Elementor.
• Contribute to better page structure, internal linking, and overall user experience.

Keyword Research & On-Page SEO

• Research relevant keywords using tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Google Keyword Planner.
• Optimize page elements, i.e., titles, meta descriptions, headers, and content layout.
• Provide assistance in preparing SEO briefs for upcoming content.

Technical SEO Assistance

• Closely track site performance and SEO metrics by utilizing Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Spot technical issues like crawl errors, indexing problems, slow loading times, and broken links.
• Help implement technical fixes with guidance from the team.

SEO Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor keyword rankings and track how content is performing.
• Put together weekly and monthly SEO reports that highlight trends and growth opportunities.
• Study user behavior to inform smarter optimization choices.

Creative & Web Design Contribution

• Suggest improvements for page layouts and user experience through Elementor.
• Help build attractive, SEO-friendly web templates.
