Job summary

Flutter Entertainment India is seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Integration & Extend Developer to build, deploy, and maintain enterprise Workday connectivity and custom application footprint. You will work with analysts to convert requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.

You will focus on Workday Extend development and Workday Studio, delivering complex integrations and custom apps while ensuring security and performance across our GCC in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building Workday integrations, with heavy, proven expertise using Workday Studio.
• 2+ years of active development experience creating custom applications within the Workday Extend framework.
• Advanced proficiency in XSLT, XML, JSON, and expression languages (like MVEL).
• Strong experience with REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/HTTPS).

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Workday Extend Development: design and build custom business applications, pages, and components using Workday Extend.
• Process Orchestration: program multi-step asynchronous processes and external API calls using Workday Orchestrations.
• App Maintenance: manage deployment, versioning, and optimization of Extend applications.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workday Integration & Extend Developer to build, deploy, and maintain our enterprise Workday connectivity and custom application footprint. In this role, you will be the hands-on technical expert responsible for developing complex data pipelines and custom applications that bridge business process gaps.

You will focus on writing clean, scalable code using Workday Studio and building custom business applications within Workday Extend, working closely with business analysts to turn functional requirements into reliable, technical realities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Hands-On Workday Extend Development

• Custom App Building: Design and build custom business applications, pages, and components using Workday Extend (utilizing Canvas Design System and Business Objects).
• Process Orchestration: Program complex, multi-step asynchronous processes and external API calls using Workday Orchestrations.
• App Maintenance: Handle the deployment, versioning, and continuous optimization of custom Extend applications within the tenant.

2. Core Integration Engineering

• End-to-End Development: Build, test, and deploy complex, high-volume integrations using the full Workday toolkit: Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Document Transformation.
• Data Transformation: Write and maintain advanced XSLT, XML, and JSON transformations to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and external systems.
• API Integration: Develop Custom Reports used as RaaS (Report-as-a-Service) endpoints and integrate with external systems via REST and SOAP web services.

3. Support & Optimization

• Troubleshooting: Debug integration failures and debugging Studio code
• Security Implementation: Configure and maintain Integration Security Users (ISUs) and Integration Security Groups (ISGs) following the principle of least privilege.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

• Workday Core: 5+ years of hands‑on experience building Workday integrations, with heavy, proven expertise using Workday Studio.
• Workday Extend: 2+ years of active development experience creating custom applications within the Workday Extend framework.
• Languages & Formats: Advanced proficiency in XSLT, XML, JSON, and expression languages (like MVEL).
• Web Services & Security: Strong experience working with REST, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP/HTTPS).
