You will own the team backlog as Product Owner, develop engineering talent, drive execution against ambitious goals, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years in engineering management roles.
• Experience leading embedded software teams for complex products.
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi protocol stacks and wireless standards.
• Proficient in C and debugging at the hardware/software boundary.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and product ownership.

The Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team developing software for next-generation Wi-Fi connectivity solutions. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, execution excellence, and people leadership to deliver high-quality software across multiple layers of the Wi-Fi protocol stack.

This role requires a leader who can balance engineering depth with organizational effectiveness. You will develop engineering talent, drive execution against ambitious goals, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

You will serve as Product Owner for your team's backlog and priorities while leading a high-performing engineering team to deliver robust, high-performance software on schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 14+ years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years in engineering management roles.
• Proven experience developing embedded software, firmware, or systems software for complex products.
• Strong hands-on coding skills in C and debugging expertise at the hardware/software boundary.
• Strong exposure to CI/CD pipelines, integration testing, and performance benchmarking frameworks.
• Experience leading teams delivering production-quality embedded software in complex systems.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi protocol stacks and wireless communication standards.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices and product ownership.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide both technical direction and team growth.
• Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, and developing engineers while building high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with hardware accelerators, SoC architectures, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Linux driver development.
