Job Purpose

We’re looking for an imaginative and detail‑oriented Senior Video Producer to lead the creation of high-quality visual content for our Input service. From concept to final cut, you’ll play a key role in driving editorial integrity, storytelling innovation, and audience engagement across platforms. You will report to Input Editor, BBC Indian Languages.

Key Responsibilities

• This role involves editorial oversight, video production, making strategy and planning stories and series for Hindi service’s social media platforms.
• You will develop original video concepts and oversee their execution from pre‑production to post‑production.
• This role will work with different video teams of BBC Indian Languages services and daily video output.

• Strong command over English with working proficiency in written and spoken Hindi.
• Knowledge of International affairs, social‑cultural issues of India.
• Knowledge of video production from ideation to final output.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and analytics.
• A broad understanding of the target audience is important.
• A high standard of editorial judgment and production skills.
