Qualifications

• Embedded systems experience with C/C++.
• Python for lab automation hardware environments.
• Ability to work with minimal instructions and support teammates.
• Good English verbal and written communication.

Job description

Role Summary

Collaborator should be able to evaluate full PMICs through bench silicon validation techniques, including the hardware and software setup preparation. As part of silicon validation and delivery of results, the collaborator shall prepare evaluation plans for each specific product and provide documents to report results within planned and agreed time scales.

The collaborator will be part of a Silicon Validation Engineering team reporting directly to a Group Manager or Team Lead. It will require to closely work with other colleagues, meaning that teamwork mentality is very welcome, expected to be able to develop/improve existing techniques and enhance bench silicon validation.

Key Skills

Required

• Bachelor's in electrical engineering or computer science
• Knowledge of Power Management (PMICs), with 4+ years of post-silicon bench validation experience
• Medium/High level expertise in lab instruments and measurement methods, mainly for DCDCs and LDOs
• Ability to debug any unexpected issue and identify root cause
• Medium level expertise in Embedded Systems, including C/C++
• Good proficiency with Python programming with particular use for lab automation hardware environments
• Ability to work with minimal instructions and capable of supporting team members
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
• Goals-oriented and able to deliver on-time results under tight schedules

Nice-to-have

• Master's in electrical engineering or computer science
• Select/propose innovative methods/techniques to improve existing solutions
• Support other teams, such as Designers, Systems, Applications and Test/Quality/Product Engineers
• Board level analog and digital circuit design expertise for PCB schematic design (Altium)
• Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity within multisite and multicultural environments
• Flexible to undertake occasional international travel
• Knowledge on verbal/written on other languages
