Potentiam Offshore Services invites applications for a Senior Accountant to manage key client deliverables and oversee financial and regulatory reporting within wealth and asset management. You will handle ICAV subfunds under UCITS/AIF, ensuring IFRS/Lux GAAP and regulator requirements are met.

The role requires ACCA/ACA/CPA with 7+ years in fund administration or outsourced accounting, strong IFRS expertise, data analytics skills, and Power BI proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end review of annual and semiannual financial statements for ICAV subfunds under UCITS/AIF frameworks.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Manage liquidity forecasts and cash flow updates for management and the Parent Company.
• Lead group accounting policies, internal controls, and management reporting to CFO/CEO/Board.
• Coordinate dashboards with data analytics to monitor fund performance; supervise junior staff.

Role Overview :

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage key client deliverables and oversee financial and regulatory reporting activities within the wealth and asset management sector. The role suits a qualified accountant with strong regulatory exposure and experience managing multiple client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Endtoend review of annual and semiannual financial statements for ICAV subfunds operating under UCITS and AIF regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with IFRS/Lux GAAP and CBI/CSSF requirements.
• Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS.
• Manage liquidity forecasts and monitor cash flow positions; ensure timely updates to management and the Parent Company.
• Prepare and review regulatory filings for submission to the Central Bank of Ireland, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review and implement group accounting and finance policies, maintaining well-documented internal controls.
• Lead management reporting processes, ensuring reports for the CFO, CEO, and Board are complete, accurate, and timely.
• Coordinate dashboard reporting projects, using data analytics tools to monitor Company and Fund performance.
• Validate Fund Ongoing Charges and Transaction Costs to ensure accuracy against Fund Administrator computations and PRIIPs/UCITS requirements.
• Supervise junior team members, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Essential Qualifications :

• Qualified ACCA, ACA, or CPA with at least 7 years experience in public accounting, fund administration, or outsourced accounting services.
• Demonstrated experience working with investment funds, private equity, or asset management clients.
• Expertise in IFRS, regulatory reporting, and financial data analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (dashboard strategy, data modelling, performance KPIs).
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deadlines, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Big 4 experience is preferred.
