Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer to shape user-centric solutions across BI, enterprise apps, and low-code platforms. You will design dashboards for Power BI, create interactive wireframes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive experiences.

The role emphasizes accessibility, usability research, and scalable design systems. You will translate concepts into reusable UI components, mentor stakeholders, and ensure designs align with business goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX design and development for enterprise applications, analytics platforms, or digital products.
• Strong expertise in Figma and Adobe XD, with ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Experience designing user experiences for Power BI dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualization platforms.
• Experience supporting Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing methodologies, accessibility standards, and responsive design practices.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and experience translating design concepts into reusable UI components.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design modern, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces for Power BI dashboards, Power Apps applications, and enterprise digital solutions.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and interactive design concepts that enhance user engagement and productivity.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and user feedback sessions to continuously improve user experience and adoption.
• Collaborate with Power BI development teams to enhance dashboard usability, storytelling, navigation, and information architecture.
• Design executive-level dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators and business insights.
• Partner with Power Apps teams to develop responsive application experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Develop and maintain enterprise design systems, UI component libraries, templates, and reusable design patterns.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs and front-end components.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and present design recommendations to business leaders and product teams.
• Champion accessibility, usability, design consistency, and user-centered thinking across digital transformation initiatives.

Your Background
