About the role:

As a Senior UAT Specialist, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates and works closely O&T
• Collaborates regularly with cross-functional team members in support of delivering on new products
• Collaborates with colleagues to provide insights on business operations of products
• May manage medium-sized project/initiatives as an individual contributor with advanced knowledge within discipline, leading a segment of several initiatives or a larger initiative
• Adheres to and implements enterprise quality standards, processes and tools, and develops and implements process improvements
• Interacts with business and development teams to define test plans and schedules
• Translates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods
• Ensures that operating, customer, and market readiness requirements are met for products, product enhancements and product features
• Implements and monitors business processes and standards
• Works with technology, engineering, operations, and architecture teams to manage a strategic platform roadmap in support of product roadmaps (e.g. Tomcat, Migrations)
• Works independently and cross skilled across platforms / products

Requirements:

Job Specific Experiences

• Relevant IT experience including being involved on IT projects on a full-time basis
• Able to mentor peers and guide less experienced Team members
• Experience with different software development methodologies – Agile, Waterfall
• Ability to analyse application logs and assist engineers by utilising basic debugging techniques
• Led junior colleagues in conducting user acceptance testing
• Five years plus testing experience on UI’s, API’s and Apps
• Experience working in cross-functional and large projects
• Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams
• Experience working and building relationships with colleagues from multiple countries
• Coordinated cross-functional initiatives
• Experience in remote worker and global management
• Experience working in projects across functions within and outside of IT
• Experience with mobile based technologies
• Created and delivered regular updates to internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated self-direction in overcoming team conflict or communication problems and in serving as a resource for junior level colleagues
• Experience working with internal colleagues across functions and job families and leveraging internal resources
