Job summary

Texas Instruments Bengaluru is seeking a senior Production Test Engineer to lead test strategy, data analytics, and yield improvements for high-volume IC testing. You will own the test methodologies and drive quality standards across projects, collaborating with vendors and IT teams to optimize production outcomes.

The role requires deep expertise in automated test equipment, ADS, and VLSI fundamentals, with a proven track record in debugging complex test flows and improving yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electrical & computer engineering, mathematics, physics or related field.
• 12+ years of work related experience.
• ATE expertise with ETS88, ETS800, Advantest V93K / EXAscale (highly desirable).
• Expertise in Data Analytics and Yield analysis.
• Probe card hardware and circuit design experience.
• Software development experience.
• Excellent debugging skills and strong VLSI fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Utilize analog circuit analysis and Automated Test Equipment debugging knowledge to troubleshoot test, quality, and device performance issues.
• Drive decisions on test strategy: optimize trade-offs between test cost, coverage, performance and quality.
• Develop test processes, fixtures and software for automated test equipment for optimized production use.
• Establish and influence next-generation test solutions to reduce costs on future products.
• Facilitate and support new multi-factory manufacturing test and assembly flows.
• Analyze test solution robustness through correlated performance and sameness verification techniques.
• Perform yield analysis and work with fabs for yield improvements where applicable.

Strategic Leadership & Industry Authority

• Technology Roadmap & Vision: Own the strategic direction of ATE ecosystem in TI while collaborating with AT sites, establishing TI's test methodologies , quality benchmarks and technical judgments that form the foundation for TI's next generation of products.
• Industry & Customer Influence: Serve as TI's technical authority in high-stakes customer engagements and partner discussions, taking complex decisions and communicating with authority and clarity.

• Expertise in Data Analytics and Yield analysis
