Job summary

Roboyo invites a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Delivery team. You will be a key technical contributor, designing, developing, and delivering robust RPA and test automation solutions with UiPath Test Suite, working with cross-functional teams to elevate quality at scale.

As a senior, you will mentor junior engineers, contribute to internal frameworks, and drive automation quality across projects, with opportunities to influence pre-sales activities and solution design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and deploying automation solutions with UiPath.
• Expertise in UiPath Test Suite and Test Manager.
• Strong RPA fundamentals: REFramework, queues, assets, credentials.
• Experience integrating UiPath with CI/CD tools for automated testing.
• Solid software testing methods: unit, integration, regression, UAT.
• Able to write clear test plans and automation documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging of automation failures.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end RPA and automation workflows using UiPath Test Suite.
• Build scalable automation frameworks and libraries following REFramework and modular design.
• Define test strategies and test plans for automated and regression testing across client environments.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and QA to translate requirements into automation solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex automation defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1/L2 engineers; support onboarding.

About the Role

You will join our Delivery team as Senior Test Automation Engineer . In this role, you will be a key technical contributor and trusted advisor, responsible for end-to-end design, development, and delivery of robust RPA and Test Automation solutions using the UiPath Test Suite. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, shape automation best practices, and help our clients accelerate quality at scale.

This is a hands-on engineering role that also demands a strategic mindset. As a Senior, you are expected to mentor junior engineers, contribute to internal frameworks, and serve as a subject-matter expert in automation quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end RPA and Test Automation workflows using UiPath Test Suite (Test Manager, Test Automation, Studio).
• Build andmaintainreusable, scalable automation frameworks, libraries, and components following best practices (REFramework, Modular Design).
• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for both automated and regression testing across multiple client environments.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and QA stakeholders to translate requirements into robust automation solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement across the delivery team.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar) to enable continuous testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex automation defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1/L2 engineers; support onboarding and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including effort estimations, solution design, and technical presentations whenrequired.

Must-have

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying automation solutions with UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Test Suite).
• Provenexpertisein UiPath Test Suite, including Test Manager, Test Automation activities, and integration with third-party testing tools.
• Strong command of RPA fundamentals:REFramework, exception handling, queues, assets, and credential management.
• Experience integrating UiPath workflows with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI) for continuous testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies: unit, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
• Ability to write clear, structured test plans, test cases, and automation documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to debug complex automation failures.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with UiPath Process Mining, Task Mining, or Document Understanding.
• UiPath Certified Professional - Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-augmented automation and Agentic Automation concepts.
• Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or other UI testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Background in SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise application automation.
• UiPath Certified Solution Architect or Test Automation Specialist certification.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerized environments.
• Prior experience in a consulting or managed services environment.
