Job summary

Cognizant in Chennai is seeking a Senior Technical Frontier Educator to own the design, delivery and continuous improvement of full stack technology skilling for entry-level talent and Cognizant associates.

You will design end-to-end learning journeys, deliver engaging trainings, and assess learner outcomes across frontend, backend, APIs, cloud, and DevOps. You will mentor learners and track progress to boost readiness for client work.

Qualifications

• Six to ten years of expertise in technical facilitation and adult learning principles.
• Full stack hands-on proficiency in at least one programming language across frontend, backend, database, cloud, DevOps and testing.
• Willingness to travel across Cognizant locations based on training needs.

• Deliver high-impact classroom, virtual and blended trainings through live coding, debugging deep dives and architecture walkthroughs.

• Coach associates from learning to client readiness, reinforcing enterprise coding standards and partnering with business units to ensure learner success.
• Track skill readiness and assessment outcomes to improve learning effectiveness and contribute to leadership dashboards.

About the role

As a Senior Technical Frontier Educator, you will make an impact by owning the design, delivery and continuous improvement of full stack technology skilling across entry-level talent and Cognizant associates. You will be a valued member of the Corporate Learning & Development team and work collaboratively with the in-house Frontier Educator ecosystem.

In this role, you will

• Design end-to-end technical full stack learning journeys covering frontend, backend, APIs, databases, cloud, testing and DevOps (OR) product specific skills including hands‑on labs, capstones and enterprise‑grade simulations

• Deliver high‑impact classroom, virtual and blended technical trainings through live coding, debugging deep dives and architecture walkthroughs

• Design and execute technical coding challenges, assessments and real‑world projects while providing actionable feedback and mentoring plans

• Coach associates from learning to client readiness, reinforcing enterprise coding standards and partnering with business units to ensure learner success

• Track skill readiness and assessment outcomes to improve learning effectiveness and contribute to leadership dashboards

Work model

What you need to have to be considered

• Six to ten years of expertise in technical facilitation and adult learning principles

• Full stack hands‑on proficiency in at least one of the programming languages (like Java, .NET, C#, Python, Mainframe) across frontend, backend, database, cloud, DevOps and testing

• Expertise in at least one of the below product skill areas:

• Salesforce (SFDC) Platform & Ecosystem,

• Microservices & Distributed Systems Architecture

• Cybersecurity

• IT Infrastructure Services (ITIS) including ITSM (ITIL‑based practices), infrastructure operations

• Active proficiency in GenAI tools, AI‑assisted coding, LLMs & prompt engineering, RAG, AI Agent Development & Agent creation, Agentic AI, LLM Orchestration Frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph/ CrewAI/ AutoGen), AI Automation & Workflow Orchestration

• Strong technical facilitation, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills

• Willingness to travel across Cognizant locations based on training needs

These will help you stand out
