Job summary

The candidate will contribute to ALM Portfolio products, creating features with modern UI/UX concepts while ensuring robust, scalable solutions. Strong coding, reviews and mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• Java development experience.
• Experience with ODATA and REST APIs.
• JSP development.
• Database experience with Oracle and Postgres.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, JQuery, ExtJS and Angular.

Responsibilities

• Prepare functional specifications for a component in a release.
• Define feature scope, assumptions and dependencies.
• Outline UI requirements and user roles.
• References use cases and document task flows for the feature.
• Schedule, conduct and participate in design reviews.
• Prepare design notes including requirements, problem definition and solution.
• Prepare work estimates for assigned tasks.
• Develop iterative prototypes as needed; technical lead on projects.
• Provide ongoing feedback on deliverables.
• Write well documented code and perform unit tests.
• Deliver automated tests to QA and test across configurations.
• Acquire knowledge to perform assignments; maintain strong customer contact.
• Share technical information with the team and respond promptly.

ALM, Pune team, need a Software Developer at mid-experience level who will work on developing and maintaining multiple products within ALM Portfolio. The work also involves working on creation of new features using modern UI/UX concepts

Your Day-to-Day

• Prepare functional specifications to include
• Detailed description of specific features and/or functionalities for a component within a product for a specific release
• Assumptions, constraints and dependencies associated with this particular feature
• A User Interface section, outlining specific UI's and user roles
• References use cases and documents task flows for this particular feature
• Schedule, conduct and participate in design reviews
• Prepare design note(s) per group standards based on an approved set of requirements. A design note shall include at minimum: Requirement statement, problem definition, solution description, test scenarios, migration issues
• Prepare work estimates for assigned tasks
• Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate Technical lead on projects Completes all work according to schedule requirements
• Provide ongoing feedback on deliverables
• Write well documented & performing code including source code documentation that meets organizational standards
• Solicit code reviews for your work. Participate in code reviews of others work
• Create and run unit tests
• Deliver automated tests to QA for inclusion in a regression test bed when

• Test on multiple configurations
• Acquire knowledge necessary to perform job assignments (technology, product and process)
