Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant — Analytics in Bengaluru to lead end‑to‑end analytics delivery, including dashboards, data pipelines, and governance. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Architects to ensure scalable, secure solutions aligned with client goals.

You will apply expertise in CRMA, Dataflows and Recipes, Einstein Discovery, and NBA-enabled automation, while driving best practices and high‑quality results for enterprise Salesforce environments.

The Senior Technical Consultant — Analytics is a hands‑on delivery specialist responsible for executing the build, configuration, data migration and testing work‑streams within Analytics.

Working under the direction of the Technical Architect and Solution Architect, the STC owns specific delivery work‑streams end‑to‑end implementation and delivery of dashboards, reports, recipes etc. The STC also mentors Technical Consultants on the team, reviewing their work and ensuring the quality of implementation and the scalability of the solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and end‑to‑end data and analytics architectures (data pipelines, modeling, storage, and visualization) tailored to client business needs.
• Lead client discovery workshops, gather and translate complex business requirements into technical specs, and map out target‑state analytics solutions.
• Develop, test, and optimize robust ETL/ELT data pipelines, data models, and analytics workflows to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Design and deliver intuitive, high‑impact dashboards, reporting solutions, and self‑service BI capabilities that drive actionable business insights.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of technical project delivery, ensuring quality standards, timeline adherence, and alignment with client deliverables.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business terms.
• Establish best practices for data governance, quality control, data security, code reviews, and documentation across the analytics pipeline.
• Guide and mentor junior data engineers and analysts, supporting continuous skill development and process improvements within the team.

Core Technical Skills — Must Have

• 5+ years of experience building scalable dashboards, reports, and data visualizations within Salesforce CRM Analytics (formerly Tableau CRM / Einstein Analytics).
• Hands‑on experience with data transformation using Dataflows and Recipes, as well as developing predictive and prescriptive models using Einstein Discovery.
• Demonstrated experience building Salesforce Flows to automate processes and integrate Next Best Action strategies.
• 5+ years of active participation on deployment teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering customer projects, ideally in enterprise‑level Salesforce CRM environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills—equally adept at writing executive emails, facilitating whiteboard sessions, or delivering technical presentations to key stakeholders.
• Self‑starter with a strong desire to learn new technologies, solve complex problems, and drive innovation to help scale the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Relevant experience will be evaluated based on core role competencies (including professional work, military service, volunteer roles, or extracurricular leadership).

Preferred Skills — Good To Have

• Proven experience migrating reporting systems from on‑premises servers to the cloud, or transitioning legacy BI tools to Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) or Tableau.
• Working knowledge of Tableau Next and Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end project delivery across Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud environments.
• Direct exposure to building Agentforce journeys triggered from Salesforce Data Cloud activation segments.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of end‑to‑end implementation experience across Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA), Einstein/Agent Analytics, Dataflows, Recipes, dashboard creation, Salesforce Flows, and Next Best Action (NBA).
• Hands‑on experience with core Salesforce development, including Apex classes, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Proven expertise in integrating Salesforce with external systems, writing SQL queries, and utilizing complex joins for data extraction and analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling, process modeling tools, and industry best practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders.
