Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in vehicle testing and data analysis.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve faults.
• Understanding of vehicle behavior, handling, stability, ride quality, and performance.
• Familiarity with ADAS features and system validation.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive corrective actions and improvements.

Job Function / Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end vehicle testing and validation activities across vehicle, component, rig, and fleet-level programs, ensuring accurate evaluation of vehicle performance, durability, and functional targets.
• Apply system-level thinking to assess interactions between vehicle systems, ECUs, ADAS functions, and subsystems, identifying impacts on overall vehicle performance, drivability, reliability, and customer experience.
• Drive technical decision-making through data-driven analysis, interpreting vehicle, fleet, and emission test results to provide actionable recommendations for product development and validation.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem resolution by investigating vehicle performance issues, system faults, and test anomalies, identifying corrective actions and supporting continuous product improvement.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with vehicle testing, validation, fleet operations, and system integration activities, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical concerns.
• Influence technical direction by providing engineering insights and performance assessments that support design improvements, validation strategies, technology enhancements, and future product development decisions.
• Drive innovation in testing and data analytics by developing and improving dashboards, reporting solutions, analytical methods, and validation approaches that enhance engineering efficiency and decision quality.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, validation, calibration, software, controls, and customer teams to align testing objectives, communicate findings, and support successful program execution.

Qualification:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Automotive Engineering or related field

Required Skills:

• Technical / Professional Experience Requirements: 5 to 8 Years
• Primary Skills
  • Experience in planning, executing, and analysing vehicle tests to verify system performance, functionality, and compliance with requirements.
  • Ability to validate vehicle systems against customer, regulatory, and engineering requirements through structured testing and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools and techniques to identify, isolate, and resolve system faults and performance issues.
  • Understanding of vehicle behaviour, handling, stability, ride quality, and performance characteristics under various operating conditions.
  • Familiarity with ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, collision avoidance, sensor technologies, and system validation.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Identify underlying causes of issues and drive effective corrective actions
• Technical / Professional Experience Desired:
  • Proficiency in Power BI developing interactive dashboards, reports, and advanced data visualizations to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in Python & MATLAB Scripting for data analysis, automation, simulation, and modelling.
  • Ability to transform complex datasets to clear, meaningful, and actionable visual insights using industry-standard tools.
  • Ability to design, query, and manage relational databases to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis using MySQL
  • Advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, visualization, and process automation using formulas, macros, and pivot tables.
  • Experience in managing requirements and end-to-end test lifecycle activities using ALM Quality Center.
  • IBM DOORS Next Generation (DNG): Proficiency in capturing, managing, tracing, and maintaining requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of the V-Model framework, ensuring systematic alignment between requirements, design, implementation, verification, and validation activities.
  • Certifications: Certification or expertise in AI and Machine Learning will be considered an added advantage
