Job summary

Nutanix is seeking an MSP Systems Engineer to join our India MSP team. The hybrid role supports presales for service providers, owning technical strategy, demos, and PoCs while collaborating with partners and internal teams to expand managed services across India.

You will engage with cloud, virtualization, networking, and multi-tenant architectures, building strong partner relationships and driving solution-led growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years presales experience in the service provider space and 10+ years of overall customer-facing technical experience.

• Subject matter expertise in one or more relevant technology disciplines to establish credibility with technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical Presales support to MSP sellers and partners, addressing inquiries and facilitating solutions.
• Conduct proposal development and sizing based on partner data to drive business initiatives.
• Own the technical strategy, architecture design, demos, and proofs-of-concepts for service provider opportunities.
• Collaborate with specialists and internal teams to develop comprehensive technical strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within service provider networks to foster community engagement.
• Work with the Nutanix India SE Manager to drive field pre- and post-sales alignment with partners.
• Invest time to learn new technologies to help partners build and grow their solutions, integrating knowledge into their efforts.
• Achieve set performance metrics and contribute to over-quota results in managed services offerings.
• Support team growth by identifying the need for additional resources based on workload and performance.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning by experimenting with new technologies and processes.

About the Team

The Managed Services Provider (MSP) team at Nutanix is focused on delivering comprehensive solutions tailored to service providers. This dynamic team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and creativity, fostering a culture where experienced professionals operate independently while also supporting one another. The mission of the MSPteam is to enhance the delivery of Nutanix's cutting-edge technologies in the managedand cloudservices landscape, ensuring that partners receive the support and resources needed to succeed in a competitive market.

You will report to the Manager for Channel SEs in India, who champions a supportive leadership style aimed at removing barriers for team members and empowering them to execute their roles effectively. The work setup for this role is hybrid, allowing flexibility in where you work, with expectations of being in the office for part of the week; however, specific days for in-office work have yet to be determined.

Your Role

What You Will Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of presales experience in the Service Provider space and 10 years of overall customer-facing technical experienceisrequired.
• Positive attitude and willing to make a difference with passion and strategy.
• Subject matter expertise in one or more relevant technology disciplines to establish credibility with technical leaders.
• Strongcloud, networking,storageand virtualization skills.
• Knowledge ofmulti-tenancy architectures.
• Familiarity with Nutanix offerings is an added advantage.
• Experience with public cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Solid understanding of VMware Cloud Director and/orVMware CloudFoundation.
• Familiarity withtenant network use-cases found in service provider platforms
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools and methodologies to optimize workflows, enhance decision-making, and drive measurable business outcomes.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, and application blueprinting technologies (e.g.,Terraform, Ansible,Python,Powershell, Bash/Shell)

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
