Job summary

SGS in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Clinical Data Statistician to provide statistical support for clinical research, monitor and query study data, and design analysis plans.

You will develop SAPs, implement SAS programming, validate analyses, and prepare statistical reports while coordinating with the statistics manager and sponsors.

Candidates should have MSc and BSc in relevant fields, 3+ years of industry experience, strong QA and data validation skills, and prior CRO/pharma exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, or related quantitative discipline.
• Master of Science in Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in statistical analysis, preferably in clinical research or pharmaceutical environments.
• Proficiency in SAS programming for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
• At least 5 years of clinical research experience in pharmaceutical or CRO industry, including 3 years of Statistical Programming of TLFs.
• Experience in writing SAPs and acting as study statistician.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Responsible for providing statistical support in the clinical research, including monitoring and querying data from the database, managing study data, executing the statistical analysis, providing statistical reports, validating statistical analysis. Will also involve in reviewing research protocol drafts and the report draft, and in assisting the statistics manager in the design of appropriate statistical analysis plans and keep track of due dates. Will be responsible to answer sponsors' questions when the statistics manager is not available.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, or a related quantitative discipline
• Master of Science (M.Sc) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in statistical analysis, preferably within clinical research or pharmaceutical environments
• Proficiency in SAS programming for statistical analysis and data manipulation
• Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and clinical trial design principles
• Demonstrated experience in data validation and quality assurance processes
• At least 5 years of clinical research experience in pharmaceutical or Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry, including 3 years of Statistical Programming of TLFs.
