Job summary

Google Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for Google One to lead high-impact projects and own the architectural roadmap. You will balance user goals with system reliability while driving rapid experimentation and scalable solutions across a fast-moving product team.

The role requires strong technical leadership, design and architecture skills, and the ability to guide a distributed group of engineers through complex challenges in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities
