Job summary

Google seeks experienced software engineers to work on next‑generation systems that scale for billions of users. You will lead projects across the full software lifecycle, from design to deployment, and adapt to rapidly evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence architectural direction, and contribute to building secure, scalable, and reliable cloud and data products across Google’s diverse platforms.

• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
