Illumina is seeking a Senior Staff, PLM Strategy (P05) to enable and govern the enterprise PLM strategy, operating model, and transformation roadmap. The Senior Staff, PLM Strategy (P05) is responsible for enabling, advancing, and governing the enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategy, operating model, and transformation roadmap. This role partners with business, functional, and technology leaders to align PLM capabilities with enterprise objectives, enabling scalable business growth, operational excellence, digital transformation, and data-driven decision-making. The position serves as a recognized enterprise thought role, driving future-state PLM capabilities, business process architecture, solution strategy, data governance, and organizational change. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and influence, the role translates long-term business priorities into strategic PLM investments and transformational initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes. The role acts as a key link between executive vision, business capabilities, technology strategy, operational execution, R&D formulation requirements, master data architecture, and solution/data architecture decisions.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, Information Systems, Business, Operations, or a related discipline. Typically, 10–15 years of progressive experience in PLM, enterprise architecture, business transformation, digital strategy, product lifecycle management, Master Data Management (MDM), solution architecture, data architecture, or R&D/product formulation environments.
