Qualcomm’s QCT System Software Architecture team is helping build power efficient, embedded, next-generation system‑on‑chip solutions to enable advanced features in Mobile, Auto, XR and VR.
As a senior member of the System Software Architecture team, the candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams (system, hardware, software, platform architecture) to build, oversee, and optimize solutions that enhance hardware and software.
Tasks include participation in architecture discussions, performing architectural analysis and validation, defining and validating HW/SW interfaces, developing and optimizing software solutions for the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform, developing end‑to‑end use cases, and supporting SW drivers.
Responsibilities: lead development of new technologies from end to end, define HW, integrate with SW, and develop drivers. Contribute to areas such as ARM, DSP, RISC‑V, System Cache, AI Infra SW, Signaling/IPC/IPCC, computing, ML use cases, SMMU, exclusive monitors, far atomics, coherency, memory ordering, memory management, and virtualisation.
13+ years of Software Engineering, Computer Architecture, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Participate in driver development in Linux Kernel, Embedded FW Cores, and DSP used for ML and Audio Processing; work with hardware designers on requirements; define SW interfaces; develop early drivers/framework enhancements; optimize or design drivers; oversee delivery of SW drivers; and lead cross‑functional teams on technology roadmaps.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science (Master’s in Computer Science/EE desirable).
