Job summary

BNY in Pune seeks a Senior Specialist, Full-Stack Engineer to join our PAYMENTS ENBLMNTENT PLATFORM team. This role is located in Pune and focuses on developing, supporting and deploying the SWIFT Messaging Infrastructure within the Payments Enablement Platform.

You will contribute to design, coding and deployment, troubleshoot incidents, and enhance monitoring, resiliency and security. Strong Java/Spring Boot, SQL and Unix/Linux scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and program development with supervisory/administrative experience.
• 5+ years of experience in SWIFT Messaging applications (Alliance Messaging Hub, SAG, HSM, AGI, CREST, AWP, MGW).
• Strong experience with SDLC and DevOps processes including CI/CD, Git, etc.
• Solid understanding of Messaging frameworks like IBM MQ.
• Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, SQL, and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience in banking/financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership and production deployment involvement.
• Participate in design, analysis, coding and deployment of applications.
• Troubleshoot incidents and propose durable solutions.
• Improve resiliency with monitoring and alerting; secure applications from vulnerabilities.
• Maintain software functionality and manage technical debt and gains.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Full-Stack Engineerto join our PAYMENTS ENBLMNTENT PLATFORM team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Help us to develop, support and maintain the critical SWIFT Messaging Infrastructure.
• Provide comprehensive technical support for the application and act like an owner.
• Participate in design, analysis, coding, and successful deployment of the application in production.
• Participate in troubleshooting issues, incidents and propose solutions.
• Help to improve resiliency by focusing on monitoring and alerting. Secure the application from vulnerabilities.
• Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management and administrative experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in SWIFT Messaging applications with hands‑on experience on one or more following applications: Alliance Messaging Hub, SAG(Alliance Gateway), HSM, AGI (Alliance Gateway Instant) CREST, AWP (Web platform), Micro gateway (MGW)
• Strong experience in SDLC, DevOps processes – CI/CD tools, Git, etc.
• Solid Understanding of Messaging frameworks like IBM MQ
• Good proficiency in software development preferred (especially Java/Spring Boot, SQL, Unix/Linux scripting)
• Experience in the banking/financial services industry is a plus.
• Coordinate coding, unit testing, implementation, and documentation of solution.
