The role focuses on analyzing mobile application fraud and known TTPs across iOS and Android, developing controlled proof-of-concept malware, and strengthening offensive security testing methodologies. The candidate will work closely with the Mobile Cyber Fusion Cell and other security teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate mobile security risks.
The role involves performing technical analysis of known attack techniques and tactics related to mobile application fraud and applying appropriate testing methodologies across mobile technologies. The engineer will conduct both manual and automated penetration testing, analyze application vulnerabilities, and perform mobile application reverse engineering.
The position also requires documenting root causes and risk assessments, providing remediation guidance, and identifying opportunities to improve security testing processes. The candidate will collaborate with security and business teams to understand application functionality and align testing approaches with relevant technologies and risks.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on penetration testing or security research experience, with strong expertise in mobile application security across iOS and Android. The candidate should be able to perform reverse engineering, explain security concepts from first principles, adapt testing techniques to unfamiliar scenarios, and communicate technical findings clearly.
