  • Drive revenue growth from existing clients and place Extreme Music catalogue across projects.
  • Build and nurture client relationships through regular communication (calls, emails, meetings, presentations).
  • Provide music supervision support and deliver tailored music searches based on client briefs.
  • Educate clients on catalogue offerings, licensing options, and access platforms.
  • Deliver exceptional client support through customized music searches and ongoing guidance.
  • Gather and share client feedback, identify trends, and suggest catalogue releases.
  • Support planning and execution of client events, presentations, and engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies to support clients.

About the Role:

This is a consultant role. This frontline role involves working with a wide range of clients, including advertising agencies, filmmakers, brands and production companies. The primary focus is to support clients’ varied music needs while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team in India.

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive revenue growth from existing clients while identifying and developing new opportunities to place the Extreme Music catalogue across films, brands, and other creative projects.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships through regular communication, including calls, emails, meetings, and presentations.
  • Provide music supervision support and deliver tailored music searches based on client briefs and creative requirements.
  • Educate clients on catalogue offerings, formats, licensing options, and access platforms.
  • Deliver exceptional client support through customized music searches, platform demonstrations, and ongoing guidance.
  • Gather and share client feedback while identifying trends and recommending catalogue releases that align with market demand and client needs.
  • Support the planning and execution of client events, presentations, and engagement initiatives.
  • Genuine passion for music and a strong understanding of the music industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across teams and geographies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to make decisions and work effectively under pressure.
  • Analytical mindset with sound judgment and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach with the ability to take ownership and initiative.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

About You:

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in music licensing, IP licensing, sync, or a related creative industry.
  • Experience working with music production, music supervision, synchronization, contracts, intellectual property, or music copyright.
  • Experience managing client relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and report business performance metrics, with the ability to present clear and actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of catalogue-based businesses and licensing models.
  • Passion for representing and contributing to the Sony brand.
