Job description

We are looking for a Data Engineer who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL development, Snowflake, and modern cloud‑based data platforms, along with an understanding of Power BI for analytics and reporting. This role demands a solid understanding of data engineering principles, ETL concepts, and financial domain knowledge. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end‑to‑end data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling actionable insights for business stakeholders. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows for ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Build and optimize solutions on Snowflake and other cloud data platforms.
• Leverage ETL tools such as Informatica, Pentaho, or Azure Data Factory (ADF) to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance.
• Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for financial data.
• Drive projects independently, managing timelines and quality expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data architecture.
• Experience with Python and SQL for automation and advanced data processing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and data orchestration frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and at least one ETL tool (Informatica, Pentaho, or ADF).
• Familiarity with cloud database technologies and modern data engineering practices.
• Understanding of Power BI and BI portal infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of financial domain concepts.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
