Job summary

Maersk in India is seeking a data analytics professional to support reporting, automation, and operational excellence across global logistics processes. You will leverage Advanced Excel, VBA, Power BI and Power Apps to transform large datasets into actionable insights and to connect DnD invoicing with the finance system.

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

This role is advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, reporting and automation including macros. Candidate should be able to actively support execution and operational excellence in this role.

• Advanced excel knowledge which includes formulas and VB coding in excel is required
• Automation skills and mindset to identify automation opportunities
• Knowledge and practical use of Power BI, Power Apps should have been done
• Ability to work on huge datasets to create meaningful analysis and interpretation
• Ability to create simulations for new measurements which are important for business.
• Intermediate level knowledge of shipping cycle – Booking till invoicing – DnD process knowledge is preferable
• Basic use of NFTP, S4 Hanna for connecting DnD execution process with invoicing and revenue generation through finance system

Added advantage

• Knowledge of data systems in Maersk. Eg. Dremio
• Basic knowledge of AI, Co-Pilot and practical usage in day-to-day activity
• Basic knowledge of Finance terminology and DnD Invoicing
• Knowledge and understanding of upstream reporting – Disputes and GAM dashboard, OHP platform, booking volume reports (FFEs), Invoicing Dashboard, Tender reports etc.
• Ability to create corporate presentations
• Basic understanding of customer segments
• Basic understanding of execution and operational excellence
• Understanding of key commercial policies in contract management process. Eg. Retroactive filing
• Knowledge of Athena is beneficial for this role.
