Qualifications

• 7–12 years of hands-on experience in software/solution/data engineering.
• Strong Python programming and data processing skills for pipelines and APIs.
• Deep Snowflake experience in data modelling, SQL, ETL/ELT, and performance tuning.
• Extensive AWS experience with S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, CloudWatch; CI/CD awareness.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Solution Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Snowflake, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native data engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering fundamentals, extensive experience in building production-grade data pipelines, and the ability to independently manage solution development, deployment, optimisation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-native solutions using Python, Snowflake, and AWS.


• Build and optimise ETL/ELT workflows, Snowflake data models, SQL queries, and data transformations.


• Develop Python-based applications, APIs, automation scripts, and reusable data processing components.


• Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudWatch.


• Implement data quality, security, access controls, monitoring, and governance best practices.


• Integrate Snowflake with AWS and enterprise data platforms.


• Optimise Snowflake query performance, compute utilisation, and operational costs.


• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.


• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure solution reliability.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–12 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, solution engineering, or data engineering.


• Strong Python programming expertise in application development, scripting, APIs, and data processing.


• Deep hands-on Snowflake experience in data modelling, SQL, ETL/ELT, performance tuning, and optimisation.


• Strong AWS cloud experience with services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, CloudWatch, and orchestration tools.


• Experience designing and deploying production-grade data engineering solutions.
