Job summary

Backbase is seeking a Solution Architect to ensure envisioned solutions become reality in client-facing engagements. You will lead deep-dive technical workshops and board-level sales presentations, translating requirements into scalable web-based architectures for large-scale projects.

You will guide implementation with the development team, act as the expert liaison to customers and partners, and produce architecture documentation. Expect significant on-site time during inception and training.

• Strong background in designing web-based architectures for large-scale projects.
• Able to translate customer requirements into a distinguished design; focus on security, deployment, performance, caching, sizing, scalability and serviceability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture design translating customer needs into practical solutions.
• Provide guidance and oversight to the development team.
• Create technical architecture documentation; collaborate with QA to define test strategy and with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines; ensure non-functional requirements are met; travel on-site as required.
