Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related STEM field is required.
• 5–8+ years of software testing and quality engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies and testing principles.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools and defining test strategies.
• Ability to anchor quality for the team, coordinating planning, automation, execution and metrics.

• Ensure regulatory, compliance, safety, and cybersecurity requirements are met.
• Drive transformation initiatives such as AI-driven testing, shift-left quality etc..
• Exposure to regulated domains such as Healthcare, Medical Devices would be considered as an advantage.

Qualifications / Essential skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• 5 - 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and testing principles.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Ability to define test strategies, identify quality risks, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across the product lifecycle.
• Experience as Quality anchor for team, driving and coordinating all test-related activities including test planning, automation, execution, defect management, release validation, and quality metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Technical expertise

• Strong programming skills in at least one language such as TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience with API, UI, integration, and system testing.
• Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with REST API testing and API automation using tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, Playwright, etc.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes and testing applications deployed in containerized environments.
• Experience in performance/load testing tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare/imaging standards such as DICOM is an advantage.
