Job summary

Philips in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Senior Software Technologist to contribute to DevOps, build, release and deployment. You will join a fast-paced team, ensure scalable, reliable systems, and drive automation in continuous delivery.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in DevOps, build, release and deployment.

Your Role

Be prepared to work in a fast-paced, team environment, and will gain experience in various aspects of DevOps and engineering. You will be sitting with developers, ensuring systems being developed are scalable and reliable. And you own the innovation of new mechanisms that reduce the friction of getting software into production using cutting edge, continuous delivery and continuous deployment methodologies.

This role requires you to be an excellent communicator, listener and a person who can break down and articulate complexities in a simple, concise, manner. The engineer will impact the organization by providing direct support with day-to-day infrastructure responsibilities, and should be able to help accelerate the technologies used at Philips. We are looking for sharp, passionate, and hardworking individuals who not only want to make an impact, but also grow their technical and leadership skills.

You're The Right Fit If

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience focused on DevOps, build, release and deployment
• Intermediate level coding skills in Python, Bash & C# (with ASP.NET. )
• Ability to use AI for automating and simplifying complex workflows
• Experience working with building CICD pipelines, configuration management of C/C++/Java/Python coding languages
• Familiarity with build tools, particularly GitHub actions
• Solid understanding of Docker and AWS and deployment into cloud environment
• Familiar with SonarQube/GitHub advanced security
• Understanding and experience with Build Repositories i.e. JFrog Artifactory
• Possession of a deep knowledge of developer workflows with Git
• Experience documenting processes, procedures and best practices
• Experience migrating systems between various technologies.
• Familiarity with Virtualization technologies/environments

Experience with React with Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript

Good understanding of object‑oriented design and design patterns

How We Work Together

Working knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
