Job description

We are looking for a React Native developer interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Requirements

You'll be responsible for -

• Building pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms
• Leveraging native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms - Android and iOS
• Diagnosing and fixing bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native
• Reaching out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes
• Maintaining code and writing automated tests to ensure that the product is of the highest quality
• Transitioning existing React web apps to React Native
• Designing and implementing user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using React ecosystem
• Building app and UI components from prototypes and wireframes
• Working with native modules as and when required
• Writing automated tests to ensure error-free code and performance
• Improving front-end performance by eliminating performance bottlenecks
• Creating front-end modules with maximum code reusability and efficiency
• Implementing clean, smooth animations to provide an excellent user interface
• Working with third-party dependencies and APIs
• Working with Redux architecture to improve the performance of the websites/mobile apps
• Coordinating with the cross-functional teams to build apps within the stipulated time
  
  

You need -

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in software development, with extensive expertise in ReactJS and its core principles
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, including DOM manipulation and CSSOM
• In-depth knowledge of modern front-end development practices, including state management libraries (such as Redux or Flux)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and frontend build pipelines and tools
• Familiarity with modern authorization mechanisms (e.g., JSON Web Tokens)
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of features from design to production, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and ensuring frontend applications adhere to them
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design, ensuring compatibility across different devices and browsers
