Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for backend development in Hyderabad. You will design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful services using .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and modern backend architectures.

You will work with AWS cloud services, write comprehensive tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with Angular front-end teams and mentoring junior engineers are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience with .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Strong hands-on expertise with .NET 8 (or recent .NET versions).
• Deep understanding of RESTful API development, backend architecture, system design, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch) and serverless architectures.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and OOP concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and Web API technologies.
• Build scalable, high-performance, and secure backend applications by leveraging SOLID principles, clean architecture, and industry best practices.
• Develop and manage cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS services, including deployment, monitoring, scalability, and system integrations.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and adoption of TDD/BDD methodologies where applicable.
• Contribute to and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation processes using tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate closely with front-end teams, particularly Angular developers, to define and support API contracts and seamless system integrations.
• Participate actively in code reviews, technical design discussions, architectural planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to fostering engineering excellence within the team.
