Job summary

NEC Software Solutions in Mumbai seeks a software professional with 5-7 years' experience to translate LLD into code, write unit tests, and contribute to production-quality software across multiple modules.

You will own technical issues, perform peer reviews, and work within defined estimates and testing cycles, while collaborating with Testing and Product to resolve issues and improve development practices.

• Production of Quality Code by team members including producing code to the specification within agreed estimates and timescales.
• Follow current quality standards and procedures.
• Ensure own work is peer reviewed; carry out peer reviews.
• Carry out Unit Tests.
• Liaise with Testing and Product to resolve simple issues.
• Escalate other issues to Team Lead/Project Manager in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement including suggesting improvements to Development practices to increase productivity and quality.
• Release Management including following current configuration management procedures.

Role Summary

The team is tasked to deliver new projects driven by customer requirements, modifications/enhancements to existing areas of the applications, bespoke solutions directly to specific clients and support & maintenance, either through bug fixing or working with the Customer Management group on more technical issues raised by customers.

• Ability to translate LLD into code.


• Should have strong Analytical Skill.


• Should be able to write technical design specifications/documents and test cases.


• Producing code to the specification within agreed estimates and timescales.


• Ability to create Unit Test cases.


• Is able to do understand Impact of code in relevant modules.


• Familiarity with Functional Hierarchy Diagrams, Entity Relationship models and server model design.
