Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in .NET with Angular to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software development with .NET framework.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web apps using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, and Angular.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, Architects, and QA to translate requirements.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Ensure performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and fixRoot causes.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, and Angular.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Estimate development effort, identify technical dependencies, and contribute to realistic delivery planning.
• Proactively communicate risks, issues, delays, and recommended mitigation actions to relevant stakeholders.
• Engage with stakeholders at different organisational levels to clarify expectations, align on priorities, and support predictable delivery.
• Take ownership for assigned work from analysis through delivery, including follow-up on quality, maintainability, and business value.

Preferred Qualification

• 5 to 8 years of experience developing software using .NET framework
• Experience with Angular and related front-end technologies.
• Proficient in C#, .NET, WPF/XAML, Web APIs, LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
• Experience working with CI/CD, DevOps practices, automated testing, and secure software development principles is beneficial.
• Ability to balance technical quality with delivery commitments in a business-critical environment.
