Job summary

Zoho in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our core development team. You will be an individual contributor building high-quality, engaging features for our mobile games, collaborating with designers, product managers and engineers to turn ideas into seamless player experiences.

You should have 6+ years in mobile app or game development, strong Flutter (Dart), native Android/iOS experience, solid CS fundamentals, and clear communication.

What you will do

• Take ownership of feature development from initial concept to final deployment, ensuring high performance and a polished user experience.
• Partner daily with Game Designers, Artists, and Product Managers to define requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in peer code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and bugs, implementing robust solutions to ensure a smooth and crash-free experience for our players.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to help the team iterate faster and more effectively.
• Mentor and train junior engineers, shaping their career progression and growth.

What we are looking for

• 6+ years of professional experience in mobile application / game development.
• Strong command on Flutter (Dart), and experience building rich applications or games with it.
• Good understanding of the mobile ecosystem, including hands-on experience working with native Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) layers.
• Proven experience with modern programming languages and a deep understanding of CS Concepts, Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOPS.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and know-hows to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• A track record of working effectively in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
• B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in the gaming industry, specifically working on casual or puzzle titles.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
• Familiarity of live operations, and A/B experiments.
