Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an experienced cloud & AI leader to design and execute enterprise-scale Azure cloud architectures. You will implement IaC with Terraform, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage Azure Databricks data platforms.

You will develop AI-powered solutions, integrate LLMs, and drive AI adoption across engineering and business functions while ensuring security, governance, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of Azure Cloud experience.
• Expertise in Azure Platform Services, Azure Databricks, Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Networking, Monitoring/Observability.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud architectures and implementing Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions.
• Lead IaC implementations using Terraform.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Architect and support Azure Databricks environments and data platforms.
• Design cloud networking, security, governance, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms and containerized workloads.
• Design and build AI-powered applications and agents using Azure AI services and Copilot Studio.
• Develop AI-enabled automation, RAG, and LLM integration across enterprise apps.
• Provide technical leadership for AI and cloud modernization, mentor teams, and drive AI adoption.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Cloud & Platform Engineering
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions

  • Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using enterprise knowledge sources
  • Build intelligent workflow automation solutions leveraging Generative AI
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications
  • Develop AI-powered self-service and operational support platforms
• AI-Driven Optimization & Automation
  • Identify opportunities where AI can improve operational efficiency, reliability, and user experience
• Implement AI-based solutions for:
