Job summary

Truveta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full stack) to lead the design and development of secure, scalable cloud-native applications. You will work across the full stack, from frontend React to backend APIs, while aligning with security and trust requirements.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to shape technical direction, mentor teammates, and ensure high-quality code, tests, and deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of production-quality software development in a team setting.
• 3+ years of full-stack cloud application development with Python, .NET, Node.js, React, or Java.
• Strong experience with serverless RESTful APIs for system-to-system usage.
• Extensive cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on with DevOps tooling such as Git and CI/CD; Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Experience with Azure Functions/Web Apps and Azure Storage is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service and containerized app development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Azure security services like Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Key Vault is a plus.
• Experience testing React, Node.js, and C#/.NET applications.

We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer excited by the opportunity to improve health care in far-reaching ways. In this role, you will lead and build modern, scalable software solutions across the full stack to streamline our engineering processes and accelerate our mission.

You will collaborate with internal users to analyze their use cases, requirements, and expectations, and lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based software solutions that remove inefficiencies and pain points, enabling our users to deliver faster and do more.

This role also gives you the opportunity to work closely with other senior and principal software engineers across the company to help define our software future direction and long-term strategy, and to influence technology selection in ways that make a significant impact on our business success. You will also mentor and guide junior software engineers, helping to improve their code quality and security practices and supporting their growth by championing SDLC best practices.

We Are Seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer Who:

• Has 7 plus years of strong expertise and hands-on experience in coding, testing, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and APIs in the cloud.
• Has proven experience building reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms, across both front-end and back-end.
• Is a quick learner who knows how to iterate and evolve a software solution while carefully balancing the needs of privacy, security, and reliability against a changing product landscape.
• Provides consultation and subject matter expertise for software development, rollout, and maintenance through the full software lifecycle.
• Leads major projects and program initiatives, participates in sprint planning, removes roadblocks, and ensures on-time delivery with quality.
• Is willing to review code developed by other software engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Is willing to commit to ongoing training on key topics such as privacy, compliance, and security.
• Is willing to join an on-call rotation to triage production software issues and recover services quickly.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
• Demonstrated working knowledge translating a business requirement into a functional design, development, testing, and implementation.
• 7+ years of coding experience building production-quality software in a team setting is required.
• 3+ years of experience building full stack cloud applications with technologies such as Python, .NET, Node.js, React, or Java is required.
• Strong experience with serverless RESTful APIs to support API-driven services for system-to-system usage.
• Strong experience with modern cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Extensive hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps experience is a big plus.
• Prior work with the Azure platform, including Azure Functions/Web Apps and Azure Storage accounts, is a plus.
• Prior work with Azure Kubernetes Service and containerized application development is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure security services such as Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Key Vault is a plus.
• Extensive experience with testing frameworks for React, Node.js, and C#/.NET.
