Job summary

Taglynk in Bengaluru seeks a skilled Flutter engineer to own end-to-end mobile feature development using Dart and Flutter, from design to production. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will design reusable components, drive architecture decisions for scalable mobile platforms, and ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software engineering experience with Flutter.
• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, shipping production apps.
• Solid knowledge of Flutter architecture, widget lifecycle, and state management.
• Experience with BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, or similar.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Good mobile performance optimization and memory management.
• Experience writing unit, widget, and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex features.
• Strong product mindset focused on performance and UX.

Responsibilities

• Build effective unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design efficient APIs and seamless mobile-backend integrations.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to mobile architecture and engineering strategy.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a strong Flutter engineering culture.

What We're Looking For

• 5 - 8 years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on experience in Flutter development.
• Strong proficincy in Flutter and Dart, with experience building and shipping production-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of Flutter architecture, widget lifecycle, state management, navigation, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with state management frameworks such as BLoC, Riverpod, Provider, or similar.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication, third-party SDKs, and backend services.
• Good understanding of mobile performance optimization, memory management, networking, and debugging.
• Experience handling different device sizes, OS versions, and platform-specific requirements.
• Strong understanding of Git and modern software development practices.
• Experience writing unit, widget, and integration tests.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Ability to independently own and deliver complex features.
• Strong product mindset with an eye for performance, usability, and overall user experience.

Good to Have

• Experience working in a B2C / consumer internet / high-scale product environment.
• Experience building applications with a large user base.
• Experience with native Android/iOS integrations and Flutter platform channels.
• Experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, Analytics, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes.
• Experience publishing and managing applications on the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
