Job summary

United Techno is seeking an experienced ERP/WMS QA tester in Chennai to perform end-to-end testing across ERP and WMS modules, ensuring data integrity and process fidelity.

The role involves analyzing requirements, designing test scenarios, executing manual tests, and coordinating with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to deliver quality releases. API testing and agile ceremonies are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in ERP/WMS testing including functional, integration, and UAT.
• Experience validating ERP modules: Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Manufacturing.
• Experience testing WMS: receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting.
• Strong defect tracking using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Experience API testing with Postman/Swagger.

Responsibilities

Job description

• 5+ years of experience in ERP / WMS testing, including functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and validate ERP modules such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, or Manufacturing.
• Test execution processes to validate WMS modules such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and inventory adjustments.
• Perform end-to-end testing of warehouse operations from order receipt to shipment.
• Validate integrations between WMS and ERP, OMS, TMS, and other supply chain systems.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Perform end-to-end testing of ERP workflows and business processes.
• Validate data integrity through database testing and SQL queries.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform regression testing for new releases, patches, and production deployments.
• Prepare test plans, test execution reports, and defect summary reports.
• Support UAT by coordinating with business users and resolving testing issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing best practices.
