Job summary

Instawork is hiring a senior software engineer to design, build and deploy high-scale web and mobile features. With 5–8 years of production experience and strong coding skills, you will work on our Python/Django, Celery, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch stack and frontend in React/Redux.

You’ll collaborate with PMs and designers to deliver ROI-focused, maintainable solutions. Our team values fast shipping, code quality, and ownership across offices in Bangalore and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years building and shipping high-traffic web or mobile apps in production.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with our stack (Python/Django, Celery, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, React Native) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies like React, Redux, and Responsive Design Systems.

• Prioritizing the highest ROI work—move quickly on the projects that matter most.
• Tackling large, complex software projects and delivering them on aggressive timelines.
• Maintaining peak team productivity: juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

• Raising the bar through thoughtful code reviews and clear technical feedback.
