Job summary

Adobe Systems India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to design and implement backend services for Video Cloud, and to drive end-to-end client features across desktop, mobile and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with a global team, contribute to framework development, and ensure robust testing, performance tuning and scalable architecture in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Java, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with client/server technologies and backend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend infrastructure and services for Video Cloud.
• Implement client features end-to-end for Video Cloud integration.
• Create new frameworks and maintain features throughout development cycles.
• Collaborate in design, estimation, risk analysis, and debugging.
• Write clean code and perform frontend/backend testing and bug fixing.
• Build automation for continuous verification of features.
• Optimize performance, usability and system stability.
• Monitor and debug highly available, high-traffic systems 24x7.

The Role

Digital Video Audio (DVA) group’s portfolio consists of world‑class products across desktop, mobile and cloud catering to professional customers. Some of the products and services that the team develops includes Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, Video Cloud Services, etc.

Responsibilities

• Developing back end infrastructure and services for Video Cloud.
• Developing Client features end to end for Video Cloud Integration.
• Develop new framework/features, maintain product features in full product development cycle from early specs, prototypes to implementation to release and maintenance.
• Participate in product design, estimation, risk analysis, development and debugging.
• Writing clean, functional code on the frontend and backend testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Develop Automation for continuous verification of features.
• Performance optimization, usability and stability improvements.
• Monitor/debug highly available and high traffic systems that run 24x7 with minimal downtime, load balancing, failure detection and fail over options.
• Work collaboratively with a global team of engineers to build shared software components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
• Proficient in Java, data structures and algorithms.
• Proven knowledge of Client and server‑side technologies.
• Familiarity with Backend frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Docker, REST, etc.).
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Expertize/experience in C++ will be added benefit.
• Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with unit testing and automation frameworks will be a big plus.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
